Looked like rain so just took Averey for a small walk without the Nike+. I am a bit stressing on my presentation tomorrow, but I am ready to kick some butt.

I am just settling in from a few days out of town. Spent the weekend at my parents and got some fabulous runs in including 2 fastest miles. Which is such a cool confidence booster. I am not quite sure if I will ever make it to a 5K, but it is a cool goal to try to reach. Dancing is first and foremost, so I hope this project does not interfere.

I had a great run/walk tonight. I am not overdoing it, just building up my stamina. I ran my fastest mile this evening also. It was beautiful and cool. I also feel great and got a lot of things done, including dinner, dishes, laundry, and am already set for bed.

May 11, 2009 - Day 2 Walk/Run

Day 2 Run
I ran the flats and walked the not flat. I am testing to see if I can do this. If running interferes w/ dancing, then I will stop and I do not want to be sore for days either. Today I did not take Averey, so I was able to get my fastest mile. I feel really good.
I might continue this walk with a mix of run and walk. I think that may fit me more. My goal is to dance my butt off at All Balboa Weekend in Cleveland in June. After that I might try a bit more aggressively to reach my goal of a 5K.

Training - day 1
